Business Development Manager

Market Research & Analysis (Marketing & Communications)

We are a medium startup company that will scale up soon to a big startup company. Our work culture upholds the values of the Qur'an & Hadith. We are looking for an expert Business Development Manager with a positive portfolio who is oriented/passionate about contributing to Business Development and Growth (profit growth). As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Development of Expansion/Scale-Up Businesses:
   • Handling the development of expansion/scale-up businesses with billions of revenue and contributing to sales profitability in the hundreds of millions.
   • Brand & product development including supporting marketing & sales campaigns, product and brand launches, and branding and awareness strategies.
   • Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify innovative business opportunities continuously in the short, medium, and long term.
   • Developing a comprehensive and effective business strategy system based on market research, competitors, market trend analysis, and in-depth data analysis, then providing sharp recommendations for strategic business decisions.
   • Having the sensitivity to read the market movement map broadly and macro.
2. Market and Channel Expansions:
   • Finding potential business opportunities for business goal growth points.
   • Able to open/penetrate the market for new customers (potential) so that they can become leads generators/contributors.
3. Performance Business Monitoring:
   • Monitoring sales progress and ensuring it is in line with pre-set targets.
   • Monitoring business trends and providing insight into recommendations for existing & new channel optimization.
4. Engage and Establish Stakeholders/Clients Effectively:
   • Exploring new opportunities while maintaining good relationships with third parties such as suppliers or vendors.
5. Cross-Functional Synergy and Collaboration:
   • Collaborating with various teams such as design, marketing, and CSR to maintain a positive company (brand) image.
   • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure efficient business operations.
   • Collaborating with the product development team to create products based on the research conducted.

Qualifications:

• Have a positive portfolio of developing successful business strategies.
• At least 5+ years of experience in the same position.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Industrial Design, and relevant majors is preferred.
• Excellent market insight and planning including business analysis and business negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate across divisions.
• Strong understanding of business process flow and progressive thinking.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Decision-making expertise, the ability to make quick, precise, and astute decisions.
• Ability to build and manage prospective customer/market databases.
• Strong innovative, critical, and analytical thinking.
• Open-minded, highly motivated, competitive, and ambitious to grab big potential winning market.
• Willing to be placed in Yogyakarta with WFO system.
