JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage $35-40 million of Other Vegetables, Food Additives, Edible Oils, Dairy, Processed Grains, Fruits & Nuts material spend.
- Procure all the materials under those categories to ensure sustainable and smooth production processes by negotiating contracts with suppliers with the most optimal terms and conditions while never compromising service and quality.
- Develop profound sourcing strategy that could be applied to foster saving and more stable supply including key supplier relationship management.
- Collaborate with Procurement Global Category Lead and Procurement Global Risk Commodity to formulate robust sourcing strategy implementation and stakeholder’s management.
- Proactively propose value engineering ideas and benchmark from food and beverage industry.
- Support innovation material by providing new arrays of supply base.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget for the categories, providing regular updates.
- Manage alternative supplier and material development for critical sole/single source items.
- Formulate roadmap of working capital enhancement program with suppliers.
- Monitor contract utilization management with supply planning team.
- Ensure quality enforcement for claims and ask for sustainable preventive and corrective actions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain by adapting to change.
- Project management and influencing skills.
- Ability to interact with all organizational levels and demonstrate a professional presence.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Evaluating and implementing sourcing arrangements.
- Planning and leading negotiations.
- Structuring and managing supplier contracts/sourcing agreements.
- Highly motivated, results focused and act with a high sense of urgency.
- 5 or more years of progressively responsible procurement, supply chain, contract development, or contract management experience.
