Mandarin Translator

About the role

PT Bekhen Multi Group is looking for an experienced Mandarin Translator to join our team. This full-time role is based in North Jakarta and will be responsible for providing high-quality translation services between Mandarin and Indonesian to support our business operations.

What you'll be doing

• Translating a variety of documents, including business correspondence, contracts, reports, and other materials from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa.
• Ensuring accurate, culturally appropriate, and consistent translations that maintain the meaning and intent of the original text.
• Proofreading and editing translated materials to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand their translation needs and requirements.
• Maintaining and updating translation glossaries and style guides.
• Providing interpretation/translation services during meetings and events as required.

What we're looking for

• Excellent in both Mandarin and Indonesian, with the ability to accurately translate between the two languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent terminology and style.
• Familiarity with translation software and computer-assisted translation tools.
• At least 3 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
• A degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to flexible hours, including working outside regular hours and on weekends if required.
