Job Description:

1. Build rules, algorithms and machine learning models to respond to and mitigate business risks in the company's products/platforms. Such risks include and are not limited to account integrity, fraud, scams, malicious activities, click-farm, information leakage, etc.
2. Analyze business and security data, uncover evolving attack motion, identify weaknesses and opportunities in risk defense solutions, explore new space from the discoveries.
3. Define risk control measurements. Quantify, generalize and monitor risk-related business and operational metrics.
4. Align risk teams and their stakeholders on risk control numeric goals, promote impact-oriented, data-driven data science practices for risks.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor or degrees above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or other relevant STEM majors (e.g., finance if applying for financial fraud roles).
2. 6+ years of hands-on experience with ML tools such as R, Python, Spark, SageMaker, TensorFlow, or similar.
3. Experience in machine learning and statistical techniques such as classification, clustering, regression, statistical inference, collaborative filtering, natural language processing, experimental design, social networking analysis, feature engineering, etc.
4. Must have experience with deep learning and gradient boosting.
5. Demonstrate understanding and experience with relational data sets, data warehouses, data mining, and data analysis techniques.
6. Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
