Japanese Fine Dining / Omakase Executive Chef

Their goal is to create exceptional culinary moments by combining traditional Japanese techniques with innovative, high-quality ingredients. We seek an Executive Chef who can lead our kitchen team and elevate our dining experience to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the culinary team in delivering high-end omakase and Japanese fine dining experiences.
2. Develop, design, and execute innovative, seasonal omakase menus that stay true to authentic Japanese cuisine while introducing creative elements.
3. Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service excellence.
4. Source premium ingredients and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
5. Supervise all kitchen operations, including team management, food preparation, portioning, and hygiene standards.
6. Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and inventory control.
7. Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring the team maintains a high level of craftsmanship and professionalism.
8. Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu development.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an Executive Chef in Japanese fine dining or omakase restaurants.
2. Extensive knowledge of traditional Japanese cuisine, techniques, and presentation.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Ability to create unique and visually stunning omakase menus.
5. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
6. A passion for Japanese culture and culinary traditions.
7. Fluency in Japanese is a plus, but not required.
