Job Description

1. Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
2. Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, industry research, and competitive benchmarking, to assess the viability of investment targets.
3. Build and maintain complex financial models to project financial performance and assess investment value.
4. Perform valuations using various methodologies (e.g., DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) to support investment decisions.
5. Assist in the structuring and negotiation of investment transactions, including drafting investment memos and term sheets.
6. Coordinate with external advisors, including legal and financial consultants, throughout the investment process.
7. Monitor and analyze the performance of portfolio companies, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
8. Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
9. Prepare regular investment reports and presentations for internal committees and stakeholders.
10. Contribute to the preparation of materials for meetings and discussions with investors and partners.
11. Work closely with senior team members on various projects, providing insights and recommendations to inform investment strategies.
12. Mentor and support junior associates and analysts in their professional development.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
2. 5-8 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or management consulting.
3. Previous Big 4, or Management Consulting is a must.
4. Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and market dynamics.
5. Proficiency in financial modeling and experience with investment management software/tools.
6. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively within a fast-paced setting.
9. Demonstrated passion for investment and private equity markets.
