Content Creation Partner - Video & Audio Editor

I'm looking for a modern content creator who understands what makes videos perform well on social media. You'll be my creative partner in turning ideas into engaging content that hooks viewers from the first second. This role is perfect for someone who stays on top of platform trends, brings their own creative ideas, and can transform raw footage into attention-grabbing content.

What We'll Create Together

• Social Media Content: 1-3 minute standalone videos on various topics
• Product Launch Videos: Occasional promotional videos for new offerings
• Podcast Episodes: Full editing, clip extraction for social media (30-90 sec highlights)
• Video Newsletters: 3-5 minute recap videos of newsletter content
• Presentation Videos: Adding visual elements to slide decks and presentations
• Other videos as needed

Project Structure

Rather than routine weekly content, we'll work in focused "project sprints" such as:

• Content around specific product launches or presentations
• A series of newsletter recap videos

What You'll Need

Content Creator Mindset:

• Understanding of what makes videos engaging (hooks, pacing, educating/delivering value, trends)
• Ability to identify the most interesting moments in longer content
• Knowledge of platform-specific best practices (TikTok, YT Shorts, IG Reels)
• Creative instinct for what will capture attention
• Eye for design, detail, taste, and positive attitude

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in modern editing tools (CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Filmora, etc.)
• Basic audio editing and enhancement capabilities
• Played with, or interested in AI
• Ability to create engaging text overlays and simple animations
• Comfort with various aspect ratios and export settings

Soft Skills:

• Proactive about suggesting improvements to content
• Strong English communication (written and verbal)
• Self-motivation and ability to manage your workflow
• Adaptability to shift between different project types

Availability & Compensation

• Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week), with flexible scheduling
• Location: Fully remote
• Compensation: 6 to 9m IDR
• Contract: Initial 1-month trial, then ongoing
• Available: for 1-2 hours of overlap with North America (PST) daily

• Selected candidates will be asked to complete a short paid test assignment
• Final candidates will have a video call before starting a trial project
