About the Role

The Merchant Marketing Manager Analytics will play a crucial role in driving data-driven marketing strategies to support GoFood’s growth. This role is responsible for developing and managing analytics dashboards, providing actionable insights, and optimizing marketing performance. The ideal candidate will analyze merchant behavior, campaign effectiveness, and cost efficiency to enhance marketing decision-making.

A key focus of this role is to optimize WhatsApp and Telesales motions, ensuring cost-effective strategies for converting unmanaged merchants into active participants in promotions and ads. By leveraging data-driven segmentation, predictive modeling, and ROI tracking, the role will help refine business strategies, improve conversion rates, and maximize marketing spend efficiency.

Collaboration is essential, as this role will work closely with marketing, product, and business teams to align analytics strategies with overall company objectives. This role will also stay ahead of industry trends, continuously enhancing analytics capabilities to drive long-term business growth. This position is ideal for a highly analytical, results-oriented professional with a passion for turning complex data into strategic insights.

What You Will Do

  • Build and manage marketing analytics frameworks – Develop dashboards and reports to track key marketing OKRs.
  • Analyze campaign performance and merchant behavior – Provide insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive growth.
  • Develop predictive models and A/B testing – Improve forecasting, attribution, and marketing spend efficiency on WhatsApp or Telesales.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities – Provide insights on reducing acquisition costs while maximizing merchant participation in promos and ads.
  • Enhance targeting and segmentation – Use data-driven insights to refine merchant segmentation for better conversion and cost efficiency.
  • Develop strategic recommendations – Provide data-backed strategies to improve messaging, timing, and resource allocation for merchant activation campaigns.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, marketing intelligence, or data-driven decision-making roles, preferably in tech, e-commerce, or FMCG.
  • Expertise in data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms.
  • Strong statistical and predictive modeling skills, including experience with A/B testing, forecasting, and attribution analysis.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in marketing performance analysis, merchant segmentation, and ROI optimization.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and business teams to align data-driven strategies with company objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to improving analytics capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analysis results to a wide range of audiences and translate the results to actionable business insights.
  • Have good presentation skills - especially the ability to present during problem-solving sessions with other stakeholders (working-level or leadership).

This team collaborates closely with CRM, Product Marketing, Sales, and Merchant Growth teams to provide data-driven insights that enhance marketing performance, optimize campaign effectiveness, and drive business growth. By leveraging analytics, the team ensures that marketing efforts are strategic, cost-efficient, and impactful.
