We are currently partnering with one of the leading Data Center companies who is looking for a competent Data Center Technical Solution Lead to help them in this time of growth.

Job Description

• Understands and evaluates the engineering design and operational requirements of all facility systems.
• Plans, coordinates, and oversees MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) provisioning initiatives within critical facilities environments.
• Leads and manages provisioning projects, collaborating with consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors to achieve project goals.
• Prepares RFPs, reviews vendor proposals, and provides recommendations for selection to management.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for clients in customized data center development projects, overseeing vendors, creating project timelines, managing budgets, and maintaining schedules to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Monitors budget adherence, timely completion, and communication of project status updates to stakeholders.
• Compiles monthly reports that outline project budgets, timelines, and objectives.
• Builds and sustains effective vendor relationships, ensuring cost-efficient service for each project.
• Directs the creation and upkeep of as-built drawings, guaranteeing accuracy and relevance.
• Manages capacity planning for facility services, including space, power, and cooling allocations.
• Responds promptly to emergency situations, such as fire incidents, evacuations, equipment failures, and customer issues.
• Supports and ensures compliance with all facilities management and data center operations certifications, as well as customer audit requirements.
• Carries out other duties and projects as assigned by management.

The Successful Applicant

• Holds a Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Facilities Management, or an M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Engineering-related field.
• Brings at least 5 years of experience in critical facility development and operations, with a background in managing projects within a 24x7 data center environment.
• Possesses extensive knowledge of MEP operations and building systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and CRAUs.
• Skilled in CAD/Revit 2018 design and thoroughly familiar with local Indonesian building codes and relevant government and industry standards.
• Willingness to work staggered hours or beyond regular office hours, as necessary.
• Proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Holds relevant certifications in facilities management or data center operations, such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCMP, or DCS in Operations.
• Familiar with certification standards, including LEED Gold, ISO 20000/22301/27001/14001, Uptime Institute Tier system, GreenMark TIA 942 Tier system, and Bizsafe.
