Job Summary
The E-commerce Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimising the company’s digital storefronts, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and maximising revenue through product sales, subscriptions, and exclusive content. This role involves managing website operations, conversion rate optimisation, product merchandising, and marketing strategies to drive engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Platform Management
Manage and maintain the e-commerce platforms (Shopify, custom websites, etc.).
Ensure website functionality, speed, and optimal user experience (UX/UI) to drive conversions.
Work with the tech team to troubleshoot and improve site performance, payment integrations, and automation tools.
Product Merchandising & Sales Optimisation
Oversee the listing, categorisation, and pricing of digital products (country specific content, bundles, special offers).
Implement A/B testing for product descriptions, images, and pricing to improve sales performance.
Optimise upsell and cross-sell strategies to increase average order value (AOV).
Marketing & Traffic Generation
Collaborate with the Social Media team to drive traffic through promotions and campaigns.
Implement SEO strategies to improve organic discoverability of products.
Monitor email marketing, paid ads, and influencer collaborations to drive store engagement.
Sales Performance & Data Analysis
Track and analyse key e-commerce metrics (conversion rates, cart abandonment, sales trends).
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on store performance and revenue growth.
Identify and implement data-driven improvements to increase site traffic and customer retention.
Customer Experience & Retention
Ensure a seamless purchase and checkout experience with minimal friction.
Work with the Business Development & Support team to handle customer inquiries related to purchases.
Implement strategies for increasing customer lifetime value (LTV) through exclusive offers and subscriptions.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3+ years in e-commerce site management, preferably in digital content or online education businesses.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress, or similar).
Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and conversion optimisation strategies.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, A/B testing tools, and e-commerce reporting software.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and improve performance.
Strong project management and organisational abilities.
