Senior Accounting Specialist

About the role

As our Senior Accounting Specialist, you will handle financial records, reconcile data, and maintain supporting documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all accounting records are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain monthly closing and regular reporting on time.
• Maintain all supporting documents to support the audit process.
• Assist the Lead in aligning with the business/product team to set accounting entries for new products.
• Monitor audit and accounting issues.

Minimum Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience in the Fintech Industry (Off Balance Sheet experience is a plus).
• Able to manage monthly closing and reporting.
• Experience with new system migration projects.
• Familiarity with Accounting Principles and Journaling.
• Proficiency in Excel, Data Analysis, or Spreadsheets.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Quick to collaborate and coordinate with team members and external divisions.
