Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Partnership Director. This role is essential for driving and executing strategic growth by identifying, engaging, and managing key partnerships, ensuring they meet sales targets and contribute to the company’s business objectives.
Ideally, you will:
- Develop and improve processes for partnership management
- Strengthen and manage existing partnerships, ensuring high engagement and alignment with our company’s objectives
- Develop partnership strategies and ensure their implementation that support our growth and sales goals
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard high-potential partners that align with our objectives and market needs
- Set and monitor KPIs for partners, working closely with them to achieve sales targets through enablement and ensuring all barriers are removed
- Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, marketing, product teams) to support partner performance and resolve challenges
- Provide regular performance reports on partnerships, driving continuous improvement
- Report to the VP Business Development and Partnerships
Ideally, you are now:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Marketing, Business, or related education major from a well-reputable university (MBA is a plus)
- 8-10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or related roles, preferably in the banking or fintech industry
- Proven experience in handling big corporations/conglomerates as business partners will be highly valuable for this position
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing partnerships in the financial sector
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-driven approach—able to identify opportunities, strategize, and take ownership of the execution and results
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Results-oriented with a passion for growth and innovation
- This role will require frequent on-site visits for partner engagement, relationship building, and monitoring
