Logistic Section Head

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a Logistic Plan that aligns with project budgets and schedules.
2. Prepare and manage tender documentation for the selection of Forwarders, PPJK, and Local Transporters.
3. Establish and maintain delivery time standards to ensure on-schedule performance.
4. Design an optimal cargo consolidation system for efficient delivery.
5. Implement and oversee a fuel management system for daily project operations.
6. Minimize losses related to damage, dead freight, and demurrage.
7. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Logistic Supervisor.
8. Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
9. Expedite shipping documents for customs clearance and liaise with the Importation and Customs Clearance team.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with proven expertise in transportation and customs clearance in EPC Industries.
3. Strong knowledge of logistics planning and cargo consolidation.
4. Proficient in preparing tender documents and managing vendor selection processes.
5. Solid understanding of customs clearance procedures and fuel management.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. Proficiency in SAP.
8. Certifications in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) would be an added value.
9. Willing to be placed in our Jobsite at North Kalimantan.
