Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Indonesia (with travel to Semarang and overseas as needed)

Our client is a leading manufacturer in intimate apparel with production facilities in Vietnam, China, and Bangladesh, and design houses in New York and Hong Kong. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Manager to join our growing team and support our expansion in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement QA systems.
2. Lead QA/QC teams to ensure finished garments meet customer expectations.
3. Conduct training on customer quality standards for QA/QC and production teams.
4. Oversee quality inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with metal-free and needle-control systems.
5. Analyze quality trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Foster a quality mindset across the organization through programs like 5S and quality competitions.
7. Provide leadership for in-line QC teams, including training, performance assessments, and career development.
8. Travel to our Vietnam factory for initial training and visit the Semarang factory frequently. Overseas travel to Hong Kong or Vietnam may also be required occasionally.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within the garment or textile industry.
3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
5. Fluent in English and Indonesian.
6. Flexible, independent, and able to work under pressure.
7. Hybrid work arrangement (travel as required).
8. 5-day work week (flexible when necessary).
