Job Description
Develop comprehensive retail credit risk policies in alignment with organizational objectives.
Conduct regular analysis and monitoring of the retail portfolio to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
Prepare ad-hoc reports for both internal stakeholders and external executive audiences.
Facilitate meetings and committees to address retail credit risk issues and set strategic agendas.
Continuously analyze and monitor residual value risk factors to optimize decision-making processes.
Generate ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into residual value performance.
Lead meetings and committees focused on residual value risk management initiatives.
Develop and implement robust fraud prevention and detection strategies for retail products.
Investigate and monitor fraud cases, employing proactive measures to mitigate risks effectively.
Compile ad-hoc reports for executive audiences, highlighting trends, patterns, and mitigation efforts.
Coordinate meetings and committees to address fraud-related concerns and strategies.
Review existing risk infrastructure to ensure seamless implementation of retail risk policies and underwriting processes.
Evaluate and optimize analysis tools such as SAS, Python, and other software to enhance risk assessment capabilities.
Review and refine retail risk policies, establishing detailed operational processes to support policy implementation.
Document policies and procedures related to retail credit risk and residual value risk management.
Conduct thorough testing of retail risk underwriting systems, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
Provide comprehensive support for all activities related to new product launches and risk readiness assessments.
The Successful Applicant
In-depth understanding of auto finance products, credit risk, and residual value risk within the automotive financing industry.
Proficiency in risk business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent presentation skills with the capability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in retail risk management within consumer financial services, preferably with a background in the automotive finance industry.
