Product Quality: In today's highly competitive global textile scenario, where customer expectations are increasing rapidly due to new technology and new end & critical applications of yarn, providing consistent and top-class quality with comparatively old machines like Howa cards, RSB 951 draw frames, and Schlfhorst 338 winders becomes vital for the production head.
- Manufacturing cost: Producing yarn at competitive cost is important for PTE to improve the bottom line. Hence, the job holder has to focus on avenues for reducing manufacturing costs by effective utilization of resources within the budgeted cost.
- Manpower Rationalization: The challenge to keep reducing hands every year in spite of increased production to maintain constant manpower costs as labor costs are increasing in Indonesia very rapidly.
- Supervise the production department to achieve maximum product efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement company regulations, work instructions, and procedures in the production process.
- Control productivity, quality, good housekeeping, and optimum machine utilization.
- Responsible for production targets.
- Responsible for employee skills.
- Ensure the smooth running of the production process.
Job Accountabilities
- PRODUCTION OPERATION: Plan, schedule, implement the production program, and control the yield factor.
- PRODUCT QUALITY: Drive and ensure quality at all stages of production for meeting the desired product quality.
- PROCESS INNOVATION & BENCHMARKING: Motivate, initiate & plan for implementing process innovation, improvisation, and benchmarking.
- COST CONTROL - POWER: Plan and engage manpower and control power costs as per budgeted norms.
- MACHINERY MAINTENANCE: Ensure the availability of machines and equipment to meet target production in coordination with other functions.
- CUSTOMER FEEDBACK: Ensure that necessary corrective & preventive actions are taken based on customer feedback analysis.
- PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Assess the skill level, motivate and develop subordinates to take higher responsibilities.
- QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS: Adhere to quality, environment, and safety standards.
