Job description

QC & Production Superintendent has responsibilities to organize, coordinate, and supervise the activities and work of the Quality Control & Production Team in order to ensure the products meet or exceed all established quality requirements. The production activities are organized effectively, efficiently, & safely by continuously improving and stabilizing the testing level, ensuring the completion of the goals of each period through continuous optimization, determining production priorities based on the established daily/weekly production schedules, and making daily assignments to meet the set standards and production schedules, including cleaning and other associated production activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all work is performed in compliance with all relevant safety & quality regulations and procedures to prevent any incidents or mistakes.
  • Leads quality analysis, environment tests, or any related tests/analyses referring to applied regulations/procedures.
  • Creates a monitoring program for raw materials & finished goods to meet the set standards related to content & undesirable substances (Heavy Metals, Dioxin, Microbiology, Allergen, Residue Pesticide, etc.).
  • Controls & documents Quality and Production, creating and managing the instrument calibration program.
  • Ensures all production activities are performed in compliance with all relevant safety & quality regulations and procedures to prevent/avoid any incidents or mistakes.
  • Maintains the required production monitoring systems and reports, ensuring adequate insight into production status is available at all times.
  • Ensures that the Product Labels are made according to those that have been determined.
  • Monitors the movement of raw materials and ingredients for production, in conjunction with Warehousing.
  • Ensures the most efficient staffing and organization according to production requirements jointly with the Plant Manager.
  • Contributes actively to continuous improvement efforts in achieving target objectives and the customer complaint investigation process.
  • Communicates with the Plant Manager and other related departments to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
  • Conducts required maintenance activities such as ensuring regular preventive maintenance is implemented well, conducting repairs if needed, and maintaining spare part availability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy and Certified as Pharmacist.
  • 3-5 years of job-related experience. Experience in the Animal Feed industry will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, project management, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong skills in operating laboratory instruments.
  • Strong knowledge and experience about GMP, Food Safety, & HSE Regulation.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able & willing to work under minimum supervision and pressure.
  • Proficient in operating ERP systems & Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication skills in both English & Bahasa.
