Job description
Establish a good relationship with stakeholders, media, press, community, and company partners.
Assume the role of a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic counsel and managing challenges with confidence and precision.
Develop new business pipelines, identify new business prospects, grow existing client revenue, and develop new business proposals.
Oversee campaigns for a range of clients under the guidance of the senior team, managing the agency’s relationship with key contacts and ensuring the delivery of consistently excellent work.
Be a key member of the senior team, ensuring the profitability of clients and contributing to the financial success of the business.
Assist the organization in upgrading Standard Operating Procedures from time to time.
Leverage the full range of communication channels to amplify the organization's messages to targeted stakeholders.
Develop communication materials, project enablement materials, and tools.
Maintain the organization's digital presence on social media and the website.
Manage corporate events, internal communication, and website optimization.
Lead and motivate teams, nurture and coach junior members, and leverage a strengths-based culture to ensure they achieve the highest standards of work in managing projects and clients.
Requirements:
A recognized university degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience at a Public Relations or Marketing Communications agency.
Good knowledge of Technology/Tech Company/Digital Public Relations background is preferred.
Strong written and verbal skills, with practical experience in writing marketing content.
Excellent commercial acumen and relationship-building skills.
The ability to deliver projects and results within set timescales.
Proven experience advising clients on all aspects of communications – across channels (traditional and digital) and areas (brand, reputation, crisis, consumer, technology).
A PR Senior Consultant should be able to lead, inspire, coach, and manage the Public Relations and Communications Team, owning the delivery of proposals and work.
Lead the development of impactful strategies and creative campaigns across both PR and social media.
Assume the role of key relationship manager for senior client contacts.
The candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
