QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and functionalities.
• Perform functional, usability, and regression testing across various platforms and devices.
• Identify and report bugs and defects clearly and concisely using detailed reports.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on potential usability issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools, recommending their adoption.
• Document the team's testing processes and contribute to the creation of best practices.
• Foster a collaborative and proactive testing culture within the newly formed team.
• Able to automate test cases using scripting tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) to enhance efficiency will be a plus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA with a proven track record of success.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for mobile and web technology with a strong understanding of user experience principles.
• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
• Experience working in a startup environment or building a new team is a plus.
• Previous experience at a high-growth Indonesian startup is highly desirable.
