What You’ll Be Doing

As a Manual QA Specialist at GigRadar, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functionality and reliability of our cutting-edge solutions. Working closely with development teams, you will be responsible for identifying issues, improving performance, and guaranteeing the highest quality standards.

Your key responsibilities include:

1. Test Planning: Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and design detailed test plans.
2. Manual Testing: Execute comprehensive front-end and back-end tests to identify bugs and ensure a smooth user experience.
3. Regression Testing: Validate bug fixes and conduct rigorous retesting to maintain quality in all software updates.
4. Documentation: Accurately document test results, defects, and troubleshooting steps to improve QA processes.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside development, operations, and business teams to align software with user expectations and company objectives.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a detail-oriented QA Specialist with hands-on experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of QA tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a readiness to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

Here’s what you’ll need to excel:

1. Technical Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Slack, GitHub, Hubstaff, Postman, MongoDB, Compass, Elasticsearch, Kibana, CloudWatch logs, and Google DevTools.
2. Skillset: Experience with JSON, command-line tools, and deploying projects locally. Programming experience is a plus.
3. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot independently and document issues effectively.
4. Flexibility: Adaptability to fast-paced changes and evolving priorities.
5. Communication: Strong English skills for clear, effective collaboration.
