Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies to drive engagement, brand awareness, and client acquisition. You will work closely with our Sales & Marketing team to develop campaigns that resonate with our audience and achieve our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO & SEM Optimization: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO and SEM strategies to enhance online visibility, improve search engine rankings, and drive organic traffic for our clients.
  • Google Ads Management: Lead the creation, management, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns, ensuring they deliver strong ROI and meet client objectives.
  • Digital Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and search engines, to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences and supports overall digital marketing goals.
  • Campaign Analysis & Reporting: Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Client Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on campaign performance, and discuss strategic adjustments.
  • Industry Expertise & Trends: Leverage your knowledge of the home improvement and construction industries, and stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies to ensure strategies remain competitive.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, content creators, designers, and developers, to align all digital marketing efforts with overall company goals and support growth initiatives.

Monthly KPIs:

1. SEO Performance:

  • Organic Traffic Growth: Achieve a minimum of 10% month-over-month increase in organic traffic.
  • Keyword Rankings: Improve search engine rankings for target keywords, aiming for at least 70% of keywords to rank on the first page of search results.
  • Backlink Acquisition: Secure a minimum of 10 high-quality backlinks per month to improve domain authority.
  • Technical SEO Issues: Resolve 100% of identified technical SEO issues, such as broken links, site speed, and mobile optimization.

2. Google Ads Performance:

  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS): Maintain a minimum ROAS of 4:1 across all Google Ads campaigns.
  • Cost Per Click (CPC): Reduce average CPC by 5% while maintaining or improving conversion rates.
  • Conversion Rate: Achieve a conversion rate of at least 10% on all paid campaigns.
  • Budget Utilization: Ensure 95% of the allocated budget is effectively utilized each month.
  • Content Production: Ensure the creation and optimization of at least 8 high-quality pieces of content per month (e.g., blogs, articles, infographics).
  • Content Engagement: Increase content engagement rates (likes, shares, comments) by 15% month-over-month on social media platforms.
  • Content Click-Through Rate (CTR): Achieve a minimum CTR of 3% on content distributed through email and social channels.

3. Social Media & Email Marketing:

  • Social Media Growth: Increase the number of followers on key social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) by 10% each month.
  • Email Open Rate: Maintain an average email open rate of 25% or higher.
  • Email Click-Through Rate (CTR): Achieve a CTR of at least 5% on email marketing campaigns.
  • Lead Generation: Generate a minimum of 50 qualified leads per month through social media and email marketing efforts.

4. Campaign Performance:

  • Overall Campaign ROI: Ensure all digital marketing campaigns collectively achieve an ROI of 5:1 or higher.
  • Lead-to-Customer Conversion Rate: Convert at least 15% of generated leads into customers.
  • Bounce Rate: Reduce the website bounce rate to below 40% for all landing pages used in campaigns.
  • Landing Page Conversion: Achieve a landing page conversion rate of at least 20% on campaign-specific pages.

5. Client Satisfaction & Communication:

  • Client Satisfaction Score: Maintain a client satisfaction score of 90% or higher, based on monthly feedback and performance reviews.
  • Client Reporting: Deliver monthly performance reports to clients on time, ensuring 100% client awareness of campaign progress and results.
  • Client Retention: Achieve a client retention rate of 95% or higher by delivering consistent, high-quality results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in and contribute to at least 4 team strategy meetings per month, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Innovation Implementation: Propose and implement at least one new digital marketing strategy or tool per quarter to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Training & Development: Complete at least 2 professional development courses or certifications related to digital marketing per year.

Qualifications:

  • Google Certification: Must hold Google Certification in Ads and Analytics.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a demonstrated track record of managing successful Google Ads campaigns, particularly in the home improvement or construction industry.
  • Strong SEO Skills: In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research and the use of analytics tools to drive organic traffic.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize digital marketing performance.
  • Proficiency in Tools: Proficient in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media management platforms.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of campaigns are optimized for maximum success.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.
