Design & Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

1. Conducting research and analysis to create the concept of new products.
2. Designing systems and components that meet the needs and requirements using engineering tools.
3. Prototyping, evaluating the test and design result, and redesigning until the product is ready to be manufactured.
4. Providing good reports and documentation.
5. Reviewing and evaluating existing products to create recommendations of modifications and improvements for product development.
6. Working and collaborating with other professionals within and outside the engineering sector.
7. Planning milestones, project time frame, and goals.
8. Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques.
9. Monitoring and commissioning engineering systems.

Requirements

1. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma degree with a heavy focus on mechanical/mechatronics.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the design and manufacturing processes (machining and fabrication).
3. Have the ability to use CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus).
4. Have the ability to operate a CNC machine.
5. Have expertise in mechanical engineering, especially in Kinematics / Precise and Moving parts assembly / Special Purpose Machine or Small - mechanism design.
6. Have the ability to participate in DFMEAs and support PFMEAs.
7. Have a good Design improvement, trials, and root-cause analysis.
8. Accurate, attention to detail, tactful, and a fast learner is a must.
9. Have good interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
10. Have superb creativity, logic, vision, and problem-solving skills.
11. Have good communication skills in English both oral and written.
12. Have the ability to work individually and in a team.
13. Willing to work in Salatiga or Semarang according to the project needs.
