Design Engineer

About the role

PTKMU is seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of innovative mechanical engineering solutions for our clients. Our project is in Indonesia and thus this is a full-time position based in Indonesia.

What you'll be doing

1. To prepare calculations and design shop drawings using AutoCAD and civil 3D based on construction drawing clients on infrastructure waterworks, from pipe laying works based on pipe jacking, manual jacking, open cut, zingker methodology to test and commissioning and its related works, including caisson and sheet piles pit constructions for jacking and receiving pits.
2. To submit the shop drawing based on schedule.
3. To get approval shop drawing based on schedule.
4. To upkeep and maintain all drawings in an orderly manner.
5. To control and give the update and latest drawing to the team.

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
6. Experience as an engineering consultant will be an added advantage.
7. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
