Data Scientist

FINNS Bali are seeking a talented and passionate Data Scientist to join our team and help us unlock the power of data. In this role, you will play a key role in extracting meaningful insights from our data, driving data-driven decision-making, and contributing to the development of innovative data products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Modeling: Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
2. Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems and drive strategic initiatives.
3. Data Mining and Extraction: Utilize various data mining techniques to extract relevant information from diverse data sources. Clean, process, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
4. Predictive Modeling: Build predictive models to forecast future outcomes and support business planning. Develop and implement algorithms for tasks such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, and fraud detection.
5. Data Visualization: Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner through compelling visualizations and presentations. Create dashboards and reports to effectively convey insights to stakeholders.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business analysts, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
7. Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Explore and experiment with new technologies and techniques to improve data analysis and modeling processes.

Requirements:

1. Strong Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R), machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
3. Data Wrangling Skills: Expertise in data cleaning, processing, and manipulation techniques.
4. Modeling Expertise: Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges creatively and strategically.
7. Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
