Data Engineer

Job Description

• Build and optimize pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Design and implement scalable data warehouses using Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Create data models using Star Schema and Kimball methodologies.
• Write and optimize high-performance SQL queries.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments with Git/GitLab and Docker.
• Utilize AWS or GCP services (e.g., S3, Lambda, BigQuery) for storage, compute, and deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline issues and data inconsistencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake is highly prioritized, with familiarity in other platforms like Redshift or BigQuery.
• Proficient in designing scalable data models using Star Schema and Kimball methodology, with experience implementing these in real-world scenarios.
• Advanced skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries for high performance, including debugging and tuning large-scale queries.
• Mastery in managing and deploying data pipelines using Apache Airflow, including DAG design and monitoring.
• Strong experience with Git/GitLab for version control and setting up automated CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Proficiency in AWS or GCP knowledge for data storage (e.g., S3, BigQuery), compute (e.g., Lambda, Cloud Functions), and deployment (e.g., Cloud Run, ECS).
• Proficiency with Docker for creating, deploying, and managing containerized environments for data workflows.
• Willing to work onsite at Sunter, North Jakarta, on a 6-month contract basis
