Amazon is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our Data Center Engineering Operations Team. This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services. The Data Center Engineering Operation Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating within contract parameters within third party Colocation facilities.
Responsibilities:
Participate in a 24 x 7 rotating shift roster and cover shifts as required.

- Demonstrate skills, competencies, and capabilities in leading and managing operation of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control system (generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS and DRUPS, electrical sub distribution systems, fire detection and suppression systems).
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with 5+ years of Data Center Engineering Experience, Power Utilities or Oil & Gas.
- Familiar with network design and layout as well as low / high voltage cabling, BMS Systems, Monitoring and alarming systems.
- Experiences and knowledge in people management (talent acquisition and people development).
