Data Analyst Underwriting

Job Description

The Data Analyst leverages data to identify key risk indicators and potential risk factors within the underwriting process and provide actionable insights to mitigate the potential risks that may arise.

The day-to-day tasks of the Data Analyst can include the following (but are not limited to):

1. Creating ad-hoc reports, monitoring, and analysis to aid management in risk decisions.
2. Daily review of key risk indicators and identification of potential risk factors, if any.
3. Identifying fraudulent activities and providing necessary solutions to stop the gap.
4. Participating in new product launches, policy change implementations, and process changes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Risk Analyst, MIS Analyst, or Data Analyst in the financial sector.
• English proficiency is a must.
• Working knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Excel are required. Mastery in other database management software will be highly appreciated.
• Strong analytical skills as proven from previous projects.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
