Data Analyst

As an Analyst at BukuWarung, you will be working very closely with various teams to drive essential insights for the acquisition, and retention of merchants as well as revenue goals for business. This role will have a deep understanding of both the business and data infrastructure, organizing and reporting internal data to drive strategic and operational decision-making. The candidate should feel comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role must be adept at taking a business need and translating it into a data requirement, and building and refining ad hoc reports.

What You'll Do

• Understand the key drivers of the business (e.g. origination, repayment, conversion, unit economics/lifetime value of customer) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on defining/measuring the metrics that drive the business.
• Identify opportunities that directly impact and help in the betterment of user experience and/or business goals.
• Work with non-technical business users to understand their analytical needs, document and prioritize requirements, and help them effectively use the data and analytical tools that the team has developed.
• Build, run, validate and troubleshoot ad hoc reports; develop and maintain self-updating reports and dashboards in Google Data Studio, Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets or similar.
• Define and centralize success metrics that reflect the core drivers of the team.
• Collaborate to build sustainable reporting to enable better and faster insights.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in analytics.
• You are a self-starter: You drive projects with minimal guidance and focus on impact work.
• Strong communicator: You effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• Experience working with the operations team is a plus.
• Knowledge of and experience with reporting and data visualization packages (Tableau, Amplitude, Google Data Studio), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, R, or ETL frameworks) are a plus but not required.
• Good to have: having experience with data science projects.
