About Our Client

Our client is a leading life insurance company with a current focus on growing the Cybersecurity practices.

Job Description

1. Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions, including anti-malware, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) tools.
2. Develop and maintain endpoint security policies, procedures, and configurations to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other cyber threats.
3. Monitor and analyze security events related to endpoints, responding promptly to incidents and implementing mitigation strategies.
4. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and endpoint security audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
5. Collaborate with the rest of the IT team to integrate endpoint security measures into the broader cybersecurity architecture.
6. Lead efforts in identifying and mitigating risks associated with new endpoint devices, new applications, and emerging technologies.
7. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, applying this knowledge to enhance defensive strategies.
8. Provide guidance and training to employees on best practices for endpoint security and overall cybersecurity hygiene.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field is mandatory.
2. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on defensive security and/or endpoint security.
3. Proficiency with endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Symantec, or similar.
4. In-depth understanding of defensive security principles, including malware analysis, incident response, and threat hunting.
5. Experience in monitoring and responding to security events using SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
6. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Relevant certification will be a plus (i.e. CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.)
