Cyber Security Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
2. Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and investigate incidents.
3. Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
4. Develop and implement security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
6. Train employees on cybersecurity best practices and threat awareness.
7. Respond to security incidents, perform forensic investigations, and document findings.
8. Work with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and software updates.
9. Prepare security reports for management and recommend improvements.
10. Conduct third-party security assessments and audits.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP are preferred.
3. Experience in cybersecurity, IT security administration, or risk management.
4. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and attack vectors.
5. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
6. Understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
7. Familiarity with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus). Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
8. Strong analytical with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
