About the role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Export professional to join our team in Medan, North Sumatra. As a key member of our ISO Tank division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our export clients, ensuring the seamless and efficient handling of their shipments.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and process export order requests and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
2. Liaise with clients, shipping carriers, and internal teams to coordinate and track the progress of export shipments
3. Respond to customer inquiries and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to export transactions
5. Provide proactive updates and status reports to clients on the progress of their shipments
6. Identify opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency within the export process
7. Collaborate with the broader team to ensure a cohesive and streamlined service

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service or export-focused role within the logistics, freight forwarding or shipping agency industry
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients
3. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
4. Proficient in using relevant logistics and freight management software and systems
5. Thorough understanding of export documentation, processes, and regulations
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the department
7. Fluency in English and Indonesian, both verbal and written
