Currency Exchange Cashier - Genting Highlands

As a Currency Exchange Cashier based in Genting Highlands, Pahang, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and managing foreign currency exchange transactions for our customers. This full-time position is an integral part of our growing retail banking operations, contributing to the overall success of Raffles Borneo Resources Sdn Bhd.

What you'll be doing

1. Process foreign currency exchange transactions efficiently and accurately
2. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients
3. Maintain currency inventory and cash floats, balancing drawer and reporting discrepancies
4. Respond to customer inquiries and assist with any issues or concerns
5. Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
6. Collaborate with the broader retail banking team to support overall business objectives

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or cashier role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
2. Strong numeracy skills and ability to handle cash transactions with a high level of accuracy
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to learn internal systems and procedures quickly
5. Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of the team
