About the Role

As part of the Experiments Team, you will drive growth by developing credit models for innovative financial products unseen in the local market. The team focuses on building from 0 to 1, scaling to 1,000, and launching to the moon. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in early-stage product development and are passionate about data-driven decision-making.

1. Develop Credit Models: Build application, behavioural, and collection scorecards for unsecured consumer credit products.
2. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Convert business challenges into modelling opportunities.
3. Model Development: Oversee end-to-end model development in collaboration with MLOps, Data Engineering, and Engineering teams.
4. Model Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve credit models to maintain effectiveness.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and backend engineers for execution and monitoring.
6. Experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate customer behaviour and validate business hypotheses.
7. Leadership: Mentor junior data scientists, guiding them in analyzing complex datasets.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, AI).
2. 3+ years of experience developing credit risk models.
3. Strong communication skills to explain analytical concepts and insights.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Python, and SQL.
2. Experience with AWS.
3. Strong problem-solving and project-management skills.
4. Self-motivated with a passion for learning and innovation.
