About The Role

Role of the Creative Director

  1. Provide overall creative direction to whole organization
  2. Own the overall brand equity of SawitPRO including market positioning
  3. Own the product/brand positioning of all products and services of SawitPRO
  4. Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small and large projects, creating guidelines and templates for brand design, copy, art, and digital
  5. Audit all current creative work of the various teams and suggest improvements for enhanced user engagement and experience
  6. Participate in all creative and brainstorming sessions of the various teams to suggest new and innovative ways to build product, launch marketing campaigns and run business operations
  7. Develop an in-depth understanding of the target customer personas and serve as an inhouse consultant on what will work and what will not work with such users
  8. Teach people how to push creative boundaries within limited budget and time
Primary Responsibilities

  1. Marketing creativity - Oversee, guide and direct the creative output of the marketing campaigns of SawitPRO - both online and offline.
  2. Product Design creativity - Audit and suggest improvements to the product design of the product management team.
  3. Loyalty Management team - Help in ideation, creation and design of new and innovative concepts to boost the growth of the loyalty program.
  4. Customer experience team - Work closely with the eCommerce and sales team to come up with new and creative ideas to boost the sales of our eCommerce and offline products. Improve customer engagement and retention.
  5. Operational creativity - Work with the operations team to design and produce creative ways of conducting business operations from running the office to collecting user feedback, delivering products, conducting user webinars, etc.
  6. Employee experience - Find new and engaging ways to measure employee motivation, enhance employee engagement, company work culture, build internal brand equity and employee value proposition.
  7. Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social-media experts, photographers/videographers, and product managers in the strategic development of messaging and deliverables.
  8. Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives with fiscal responsibility.
  9. Demonstrated adequate leadership and people management in fostering creative ideas execution within the creative team.
Requirements

Education

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Graphics, Game Design, Graphic Design, industrial design, product design, interior design or any other creative arts field is required.
Experience

  1. Min. 5 years’ experience working as a copywriter, graphic designer, production artist, game designer, sketch artist, interior designer or any associated creative fields.
  2. Experience in innovating business models and developing new channels, business models or business transformation.
  3. Experience in consumer industries like fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer banking, digital insurance, FinTech, sharing economy, etc. is preferred.
  4. Proven track record of creative design from ideation to implementation.
  5. Palm oil industry knowledge would be helpful.
  6. In depth knowledge of all online and offline channels of communication, marketing and advertising would be essential.
  7. Proven experience in managing teams, stakeholders, and overseeing large scale design projects.
Knowledge/Skills

  1. Deep understanding of people and their motivations and behaviours.
  2. Sharp graphical and visual creativity skills. Excellent understanding of colours, fonts, layouts, language, human perception, etc.
  3. Strong business acumen, including domain-specific knowledge of the manufacturing and resources companies and their business units.
  4. Excellent creative, analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and consulting skills.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts.
  6. Must be a passionate human being with strong idealism and vision for a brighter future of Indonesia.
