Cost Accountant

This key position is based in our Finance Team in Cibitung and will report to the Commercial Manager.

The main objectives of this position are to develop and maintain timely, accurate and comprehensive analysis on manufacturing/ operational measurements.

We are looking for someone capable of bridging communication between manufacturing, commercial and the supply chain team.

This key individual will be responsible for analysing production data, fact finding and assisting in troubleshooting as needed.

They will assist continuous improvement; monitoring, calculating impact, suggesting and verifying cost saving & Research/Development project to reach low-cost high-quality process and also assist the maintenance manager on controlling monthly maintenance OPEX to be matched with target expense maintenance cost planning and verify maintenance CAPEX by competitive price and compare between initial investment, benefit impact and investment turnover.

Other day to day responsibilities will include:

1. Allocating direct and indirect costs to products and services
2. Being a key user of production costing and fixing errors on ERP by identifying the root cause
3. Developing variance analysis reports comparing actual to budgeted costs
4. Setting up and reviewing standard costing by unit products
5. Pricing new products or services by developing unit costs and projecting expenses
6. Liaising with internal and external auditors related to inventory and production costs
7. Inventory balance reconciliation and valuation integrity

Preferred qualifications and experience:

1. Bachelor degree in economics and business, management, accounting or similar.
2. Analytical experience
3. Team player
4. Knowledge of production planning and costing
5. Knowledge of material planning and costing
6. Good communication & English speaking and writing
