Corporate & Business Legal Officer

About the role

As a Corporate & Business Legal Officer at Neo Platech Indonesia, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and support to the company's commercial and corporate operations. This full-time position is based in Cikarang West, West Java, and will play a crucial role in ensuring Neo Platech Indonesia's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

What you'll be doing

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including contracts, partnerships, and joint ventures

Advising on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives

Ensuring the company's operations are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, including those related to private health insurance and health services

Providing guidance on intellectual property protection, competition law, and privacy law compliance

Mentoring and supporting junior legal counsel, contributing to the development of the legal team

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks

What we're looking for

3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a large law firm or the in-house legal team of a complex organisation

Extensive knowledge of commercial legal practice, including contract negotiation, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance

Proven ability to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused legal advice to both operational staff and senior stakeholders

Experience in working autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts
