A Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement, or quality control roles
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and quality control principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Job Description:
Conducting purchases for high-value items
Negotiating prices, payment methods, delivery schedules, and other terms
Monitoring and following up on the progress of Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO), both pending and approved, to be completed as planned or required
Checking each incoming PR for compliance with applicable regulations
Seeking out new suppliers, compiling and selecting quality supplier data based on price, quality, timeliness of delivery, and service
Collaborating and coordinating in inspections/checks on each incoming item
Monitoring construction processes, including foundation laying, framing, and finishing work to identify and address quality issues in real-time
