Responsibilities

• Write compelling, informative, and SEO-optimized content on topics related to personal finance, loans, credit cards, and business financing.
• Produce a variety of content types, including blog articles, website pages, landing pages, FAQs, product descriptions, and newsletters.
• Translate complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand and engaging copy that appeals to a broad audience.
• Conduct thorough research on financial topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Write SEO-friendly content by incorporating targeted keywords, meta descriptions, and headings to improve organic search rankings.
• Contribute ideas for new content formats and topics that resonate with our audience’s financial challenges and aspirations.
• Review and edit content for clarity and adherence to the brand’s voice and tone.
• Ensure all content is accurate, legally compliant, and free from errors.
• Collaborate with brand team, design, and product teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, preferably in the financing industry.
• Experience writing about finance, loans, credit cards, and small business financing.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent understanding of SEO best practices and experience writing SEO-optimized content.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and present them in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner.
• Strong research skills, with the ability to source and verify information from reliable outlets.
• Understanding of content marketing strategies and lead generation.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to track content performance.
