Content Management & Public Relations Manager

Manages a team of copywriters and aligns them on annual Senheng’s direction for growing our audiences and engaging them in our campaigns and advertising strategies, therefore involved in producing required content to help meet the objectives as set.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Publish 4 to 5 articles per month that correspond with current campaigns and events, and to improve SEO rankings with relevant keywords embedded into articles.
  2. Manage organic social postings that are relevant to current trends, promotions, and campaigns on Instagram and Twitter, and occasionally on Facebook to increase the number of followers and engagement.
  3. Build and raise awareness about Senheng’s USPs through various formats such as static visuals, motion graphics, videos, or articles.
  4. Raise awareness and promote user-generated content like reviews and testimonials of Senheng and senQ customers to improve engagement and as a form of marketing.
  5. Manage keywords provided by the digital agency, Kaiketsu, in Senheng and senQ’s online stores to improve visibility.
  6. Liase with other departments as well as campaign PICs when it comes to processing requests, joining brainstorming sessions, providing insights, or presenting research when creating themes, and creating storyboards, as necessary.
  7. Assist in PR responsibilities e.g., press releases for product launches and store openings, and other Corporate content in order to maintain a good public image of the brand.
  8. Assist in any internal/external projects from the VP (Video Production) team e.g., writing storyboards and live scripts for presenters.
  9. Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mass communication, marketing, language, writing, and/or advertising.
  2. Has at least 3 years of working experience in Copywriting, Advertising, Marketing, and/or Social Media Management.
  3. Language Proficiency: English and Bahasa Malaysia (Fluent in Writing and Conversing).
  4. Well-versed and well-aware of Malaysian trends and pop culture e.g., trending Twitter topics and/or trending Malaysia Google Searches.
  5. Competent in executing projects together in a team efficiently and delivering as scheduled.
  6. Dynamic, an excellent team player, creative, self-motivated, and able to work in a team or independently.
  7. Required skills: MS Excel, MS Word, & PowerPoint.
  8. Bonus skills: Knowledge of Illustrator and/or Photoshop for liaising with the Visual team and creating Social Media posts.
