Construction Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Lead site selection, measurements, and construction planning.
2. Collaborate with design teams to review layouts, renovation drawings, and proposals.
3. Ensure construction quality and compliance with brand standards (e.g., traffic flow, display areas, checkout zones).
4. Work with property management, contractors, and government authorities to resolve construction issues.

Supplier and Cost Management:

1. Build strong relationships with contractors and suppliers to optimize costs without compromising quality.
2. Review project quotes, control budgets, and submit detailed budget execution reports.
3. Maintain brand consistency in store design, signage, and equipment.
4. Develop and refine construction SOPs to improve efficiency and quality.

Existing Store Renovations:

1. Oversee renovations and upgrades for older stores, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
2. Work closely with expansion, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth store openings.

Requirements:

Experience:

1. 3+ years of store construction management experience in retail chains (FMCG, F&B, or convenience stores preferred).
2. Proven track record of managing 10+ store construction projects independently.

Core Skills:

1. Technical expertise in CAD drawing review, construction techniques, and government compliance.
2. Strong cost management and negotiation skills.
3. Proficiency in Project, Excel, and other construction tools (BIM experience is a plus).

Soft Skills:

1. Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and resilience under pressure.
2. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
