Job Description

Get to know our Team:

The Compliance team, as part of the second line of defense under the President Director's Office, ensures compliance with prevailing regulations while maintaining business needs and goals. We work closely with internal teams and external parties such as regulators and auditors.

Get to know the Role:

The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate and coordinate well across different teams and personalities, especially in conveying regulations, providing assessments of new initiatives against regulations, and conducting thorough risk-based assessments. Strategic advice and a deep understanding of financial services regulation, mainly on P2P lending and its applicability, are essential. You will be based onsite in Grab Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will be reporting to the Head of Compliance.

1. Lead and build the compliance culture within the assigned entity (OVO Finansial) and scope.
2. Provide regulatory advice and assessment on internal operations and new initiatives.
3. Work on strategic and tactical advice based on thorough risk assessment and collaboration between stakeholders.
4. Provide and present clear and concise compliance reports or insights to management and stakeholders.
5. Lead efforts to create and manage company policies to support the implementation of regulation.
6. Ensure that all regulatory reporting is submitted accordingly.
7. Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, especially regulators such as OJK, PPATK, Associations, etc.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

1. Leadership and management skills within Compliance or governance areas.
2. Deep understanding of the financial services industry and regulation, mainly on P2P lending.
3. Deep understanding of risk management and governance culture.
4. Prior compliance experience (5 years or more), either with Bank Indonesia or OJK-related financial institutions.
