Job description

Yayasan Habitat Kemanusiaan Indonesia is seeking motivated people to support the planning and implementation of community development to achieve project success from the social aspect of the community in the Habitat Indonesia project area.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implementing 8 steps of Community Based Housing Development or other procedures mentioned in the approved project proposal.
  2. Creating and collecting documents as evidence of implementation of all stages of the project in various forms mentioned in the proposal, such as photo activity, training reports, attendance from activities, Homeowner Profile, Homeowner Testimony, etc.
  3. Collecting and analyzing data on community needs using available primary/secondary data as reference in program planning in the work area (Village, District, Regency/City, Province – according to assignment) as well as program recommendations relevant to Habitat’s focus.
  4. Performing mapping of stakeholders who can work together for program implementation in the work region as well as making efforts to develop formal partnerships (MOU, program collaboration, etc.).
  5. Supporting Project Coordinator, Program Officer, and other parties to perform specific data collection requests for proposal preparation needs, reports, etc.
  6. Promoting active community participation during program implementation in various forms, including involvement in development committees, Homeowner self-substant in the implementation of the accepted program, etc.
  7. Planning and implementing training activities and other non-construction in the project by prioritizing cooperation with related Technical OPD from Local Government.
  8. Performing effective and efficient project activities in accordance with the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and Detailed Budget which has been directed by the Program Coordinator.
  9. Responsible for complying with and supporting the implementation of HFH Safeguarding Policy and Ethics Covenant & Code of Conduct.
Requirements

  1. Diploma or bachelor's degree in any major; preferably in social science or economic background.
  2. Minimum 2 years field experience in empowerment of low-income communities.
  3. Knowledge and ability in basic management and project management.
  4. Good organizational skills, adaptability, and good communication with parties from diverse backgrounds.
  5. Report making and communication skills.
  6. Ability to perform mapping of community needs and planning activities/programs needed.
  7. Upholding basic values of humanitarian programs and willingness to commit to motivation and HFHI values.
  8. Ability to speak English (passive).
  9. Able to use MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  10. Have a valid state driver’s license.
  11. Must live in Batam City.
