As the Communications Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our communication strategies align with the vision and mission of Green School Bali. You will oversee all aspects of internal and external communications, supporting the Admissions and Marketing Communications (AMC) team in driving engagement and building strong relationships with our community.

AS A COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, ARE YOU?

Position Criteria

  • Proven experience in communications management, preferably in the education sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years in communications, with a focus on internal and external engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Empathetic and outgoing personality, with the ability to handle challenging situations with grace.
  • Proficiency in using communications software and tools (e.g., Mailchimp).

TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR

  • Communications Strategy:
    • Align GSB communication efforts with the overall strategy of the AMC team.
    • Collaborate with the Director of AMC to develop and implement effective communication across all platforms.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create personalized communication experiences for Open Days, newsletters, the website, and the Green School Bali App.
    • Optimize the GSB Admissions Qualified Leads Funnel using data-driven insights.
  • Internal Communication:
    • Draft weekly internal newsletters and termly updates for parents and students.
    • Maintain the Green School App as the primary hub for community communications.
    • Learn and embody the Green School tone of voice, especially in crisis communications and safety messaging.
  • PR and Media Relations:
    • Develop and execute PR messages for external media.
    • Plan and host media visits on campus in collaboration with the Communications Team.
  • Coordination and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the AMC team and other stakeholders to support student recruitment strategies.
    • Oversee website content updates and the Green School Global Newsletter.
  • Team Development:
    • Set goals and manage performance for direct reports.
    • Identify training needs and develop annual development plans for the team.

  • Must not have any previous criminal convictions (legally required).
  • Must not have Child Protection concerns on file at previous schools or workplaces.
  • Must be able to provide original copies of certifications, transcripts, diplomas, and degrees (legally required).
