Job Description

1. Architect scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructures tailored to technical, business, and security needs.
2. Formulate and execute cloud strategies, including transitioning on-premises applications to the cloud. Lead initiatives for cloud adoption and transformation.
3. Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC), DevOps methodologies, and automation to enhance cloud operations. Seamlessly integrate cloud platforms with on-premises systems and third-party services.
4. Establish and enforce security protocols to protect cloud environments, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and others.
5. Optimize cloud resource utilization and expenditures through strategic planning, budgeting, and performance tuning.

The Successful Applicant

1. A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
2. At least 5 years of Cloud Infrastructure & Solutioning experience.
3. Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
4. Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or equivalents.
5. Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual private clouds (VPCs) and load balancers.
6. Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and implementing basic cloud security practices.
7. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
8. Skilled in monitoring cloud environments and optimizing costs.
