Civil Engineer

PT Pema Global Energy is an upstream oil and natural gas company that has operating areas in Aceh, Indonesia. PGE's business activities include exploration, development, and production of crude oil and natural gas. The Company applies its extensive skills in reservoir management, innovative use of modern technology, and drilling techniques to the exploration and production of oil and natural gas.

Qualifications & experience

1. Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in engineering disciplines, preferably in Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing civil foundations and structures for onshore oil and gas production facilities or similar environments.
3. Experience in completing one full cycle of an EPC project.
4. Adequate knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including those issued by ASCE, AISC, ACI, and SNI.
5. Proficient in using structural design software such as STAAD Pro or equivalent tools.
6. Strong understanding of onshore operational safety standards and procedures.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
8. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Tasks & responsibilities

1. Develop civil and structural designs, including design criteria and specifications, for onshore oil and gas production facilities.
2. Coordinate and oversee contractors involved in civil and structural activities to ensure project execution aligns with design, safety, and quality standards.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry codes, and company health and safety standards.
4. Assess the reliability and structural integrity of existing civil structures within the facilities.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as required.
6. Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and compliance-related submissions in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
