Job description

The role of the Center Director within EF Schools is of paramount importance. Responsibilities encompass the recruitment and training of both local and international staff, overseeing daily operations of the school, and managing sales operations. The Center Director is expected to adhere to the regulations and procedures outlined in the English First operation manual while upholding a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing: Strategize and execute marketing initiatives aimed at establishing, sustaining, and elevating the EF English First brand within the local market. This includes attracting prospective customers through phone and in-person visits, as well as managing sales and re-sales efforts.
  2. Operations: Collaborate with the Senior Teaching Manager to implement the Operations Manual, ensuring continuous enhancement of teaching quality.
  3. Sales: Supervise the course consultants and progress advisors to enhance the sales process, closely monitor the sales team's performance, and achieve the set sales targets.
  4. Recruitment and Training: Take charge of staff recruitment, guaranteeing that all team members receive relevant training. Additionally, participate in the evaluation of both Indonesian and international staff.
  5. Finance and Accounting: Efficiently manage accounting tasks, develop an annual budget, and allocate expenses in accordance with the approved guidelines.
  6. Logistics: Ensure all departments receive prompt and effective logistical support.
  7. Technology and Systems: Ensure that IT and computer equipment adhere to English First standards and that all pertinent information is accurately recorded in the production system.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of a D3/S1 degree in any field, preferably in business management.
  2. A track record of at least 3-4 years in a fast-paced growth environment, holding a managerial or senior position. This should include experience in independently managing overall operations and working with individuals from diverse cultures, preferably within the service industry.
  3. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated history of effective team leadership and staff management.
  5. Experience in leading sales teams and a proven track record of achieving outstanding results.
  6. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to oversee a multifaceted organization.
  7. An adept problem solver who is self-motivated and capable of performing under pressure. Additionally, possess creative thinking, strong communication skills, and analytical abilities.
  8. Effective people management skills, including recruitment, training, and staff supervision.
  9. Basic financial management skills.
  10. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS-Office applications.
