Manage the product assortment for the perishable category, ensuring it aligns with market trends, customer preferences, and business goals.
Establish good relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure competitive advantage and optimal product availability.
Forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and implement inventory replenishment strategies to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
Analyze and monitor sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand the market landscape, identify emerging trends, and capitalize on competitive opportunities.
Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and operational plans that drive category performance.
Maintain revenue (gross margin and commercial margin) weekly to monthly by category.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in cleaning category management, merchandising, or related roles within an e-commerce or retail environment.
In-depth understanding of the e-commerce industry, including online retail trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data, market research, and customer insights to make informed decisions and drive category growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, negotiate with vendors, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
