Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at PT Unimega Utama Raya, Pangkalan Kerinci, Riau. As a full-time Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and installation of various wood-based products and furniture for our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry work
• Expertly use power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery to cut, shape, and assemble wood materials
• Construct, install, and maintain a variety of wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings
• Perform complex carpentry tasks such as cabinet making, furniture construction, and custom millwork
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and within specified timelines
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate and integrate carpentry work with other building activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Carpenter in a similar industrial environment
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Excellent woodworking skills and the ability to operate a variety of power tools and machinery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work in a safe and compliant manner
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
