C++ Software Engineer (webOS_2+YOE_Up to $2200)

We are looking for candidates to join and develop Automotive Content Platform (ACP) that is based on the acclaimed webOS platform for LG Smart TV and tailored for in-vehicle use. The ACP powered by webOS is designed to elevate the in-vehicle experience, enabling front and backseat passengers to enjoy high-quality video, game, and music content while traveling to their destination. The platform offers easy access to a variety of popular OTT apps as well as convenient control and personalized content recommendations.

As a member of the ACP team, you will be responsible for researching and developing a new entertainment platform based on webOS in C/C++ that enhances the in-vehicle infotainment experience through the delivery of ultra-high-definition content and superior audio quality. Responsibilities include:

1. Develop/Maintain services in Service/Manager (SAM, Config/Setting, App Update, Activity Manager, Connectivity, ...)
2. Customer Support related to webOS Platform Core (attending meetings, submitting reports, etc.)
3. webOS Platform Core Specification Analysis
4. webOS Platform Core Implementation & Validation, including creating software design documents (HLD/LLD, detailed design), testing (UT/IT)
5. Collaborate with the team to deliver reliable software on time based on project milestones.
6. Handle technical problems, report progress, and work results to the technical leader.
7. Generate reports and communicate with local management and headquarters.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. ~2 years of experience with C++ software development
2. Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanics and Informatics, or equivalent
3. Strong motivation to develop a career in the automotive software field
4. Software development experience in C++ programming
5. Good knowledge of OOP, OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design)
6. Hands-on experience using JIRA, GIT, and Gerrit
7. Hands-on experience in developing large software systems
