Role Overview:

The Business Growth Head, IIX Digital Platforms is a key leadership position responsible for driving the growth and impact of IIX's digital initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the impact investing sector, strong digital marketing expertise, and a proven track record of success in driving business growth.

As the Business Growth Head of IIX Platforms at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), you will lead a team of Strategy consultants, Business analysts, engineers and UX designers who will work together to strategically prioritize initiatives, nail down experiments, and define measurements. This cross-functional team head then connects with various other company resources to increase engagement with IIX Digital Platforms and focus on new market entry strategies. Formulating a solid business case for initiatives is also critical to accessing company resources impacted by a prioritized initiative. Your scope will include managing UX/UI and data design of IIX platforms and products based on market insights. You will use agile methodologies to manage the development process effectively.

IIX seeks to expand its digital products team. IIX currently operates 4 digital platforms:

1. IIX Values - a comprehensive digital impact assessment platform that facilitates and rewards impact measurement while giving beneficiaries and end customers a voice to provide input on the issues that affect them the most.
2. IIX Impact Partners - the world’s largest crowdfunding platform for impact investing, raising a combination of debt and equity for growth-stage high-impact enterprises. We connect over 1,200 accredited investors around the world—representing over US$12 billion in assets—to high-potential opportunities that generate social and environmental impact alongside financial returns.
3. IIX Impact Institute - a premier, go-to training center for sustainability, the Institute is on a mission to fill the critical need to develop human capital with the requisite skills, tools, and knowledge to participate more effectively in the sustainable economy.
4. IIX Intelligence - is a global data hub that aggregates, evaluates, and benchmarks data from sustainable MSMEs, offering unparalleled insights into gender diversity, climate action, ESG performance, and community risk management.

As the head of the Business Growth Team, you will thrive with the following traits:

1. Digital Strategy & Growth:
   • Develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies to enhance IIX's online presence and drive engagement with investors, investees, and other stakeholders.
   • Identify and prioritize new digital channels and platforms to expand IIX's reach and impact.
   • Analyze website and platform usage data to identify areas for improvement and optimize user experience.
   • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
2. Impact Investing Technology & Innovation:
   • Explore and evaluate emerging technologies with the potential to transform impact investing.
   • Develop and implement innovative digital solutions to improve access to finance for social enterprises and enhance impact measurement and management.
   • Collaborate with technology teams to develop and launch new digital products and platforms.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with online communities, investors, and other stakeholders.
   • Leverage digital channels to engage with stakeholders and build awareness of IIX's mission and impact.
   • Monitor and analyze online conversations and sentiment to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
4. Team Leadership & Management:
   • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and data analysts.
   • Recruit, hire, and onboard new talent with expertise in digital marketing, technology, and impact investing.
   • Set performance goals and objectives for the team and conduct regular performance reviews.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting:
   • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital platform performance, including website traffic, user engagement, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost.
   • Prepare regular reports on digital platform performance and present findings to senior leadership.

Essential Requirements for the role:

• Understanding of ESG principles, frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD), and reporting standards, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of ESG technology solutions to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Management, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 14 years of experience in Business Development, Business Growth, digital marketing, product management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth for digital products and services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with data.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau).
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of impact investing, social finance, or related fields is a plus.

Additional Preferences:

• Senior Management Consulting professionals who have experience in new market entry strategies for digital products.
• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying UI/UX learning models in real-world scenarios.
• Ability to manage a team to proactively approach project and/or process issues.
• Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data findings effectively.
• Demonstrated interest in staying informed about emerging trends and innovations in data science.
